What does vivacious blonde Karen Mooney do when she is not working to promote the Prince Philip Trust Fund ?
‘I run a dating agency’, says 33 year old Karen, who was appointed PR for the Fund six weeks ago. Her first task is to promote a celebrity Lord’s Taverners cricket match in the grounds of Windsor Castle on June 6, when she will meet both Prince Philip and Prince Edward. But Karen, who ‘arranges’ more than 100 marriages a year (no divorces so far) is undaunted at the prospect of meeting royalty.
Before she set up the Sara Eden Introduction Agency in 1988, she worked at Buckingham Palace. ‘I worked for the Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Department and I was always seeing the Queen, Princess Diana, Prince Charles and all the rest’.
