With the prospect of warmer weather, at Sara Eden our thoughts turn to suggestions as to where you might invite your date.
It’s wise to decide what impression you want to make. I’m concentrating on the most likely option this time, but of course there are many more and I may return to this topic in the coming weeks.
So, do you want to impress your date? I am assuming that you are keen.
The following have been proven to be winners by Sara Eden members:
Dinner by the Thames
Blueprint Cafe, Pont de la Tour, Sea Containers, River Cafe, Ombra, and Bingham Riverhouse are all delightful
Theatre with Style
Meet at Dalla Terra or Balthazar in Covent Garden for a drink beforehand book a late supper at J Sheekey or The Opera Tavern afterwards
A Candlelit Visit
Visit Sir John Soane’s Museum in Lincoln’s Inn Fields at night, then enjoy dinner and live music at Zedel Brasserie on the edge of Soho.
Head for an early evening meal at The Devonshire Pub, followed by a Comedy Night at The Bedford, both in Balham
A Night at the Opera
If you dine in Balconies Restaurant at The Royal Opera House you can return between acts to feast on the different courses you have ordered
Have lunch at The Norfolk Arms in Sandwich Street, Holborn, then stroll over to The Curzon Bloomsbury in Russell Square an order a coffee or a glass of wine to enjoy in the auditorium while you watch the film
Before you head out, check that you are wearing:
- A smart, location appropriate outfit – for dates like these, you should be dressing to impress
- Great scent/aftershave – it will say a lot about how you regard yourself
- A really stylish coat – winter has passed but the nights are still chilly
- The perfect choice of shoe – even in 2022, shoes still matter, believe me!
All that is left now is to enjoy yourself.
